Clay Marzo in Rolling Stones

Most of us that grew up surfing had dreamed about one or more of these things; getting a picture in the surf mags, having a cool sponsor, getting paid to surf, going on rad trip or even having a part in a surf movie. Most people would be forever happy by making the Surfer Magazine Hot 100 #2 spot, like Clay recently did but Clay Marzo has taken it to another level.

Clay just got an 8 page story in the April issue of Rolling Stone. Yup Rolling Stone magazine! Now if that isn’t frickin cool you must be from Mars. I am calling out “rock star” status here for Clay.

I really am not a big believer in too much text on blogs. I think most of us like pictures and videos. Visual stimulation seems to have the biggest impact but since this is so rad I am going to put the whole article on this, so if you like to read here it is for free.

Spy Domination at the 2010 Burton US Open of Snowboarding

LOUIE GRABS 2ND AND IPOD TAKES 3RD

Once again our guys came out firing in the sunny halfpipe of the 2010 Burton US Open. After both Louie and Iouri took home medals from European X Games just a couple days before, they arrived at Stratton, Vermont ready to continue their domination this season. They have both be on almost every podium through the 2010 season.

This time it was Louie who took second and Iouri took third. Louie dropped in with a huge frontside double cork 1080, then right into the cab double cork 1080, frontside double 900, backside 900 and into a frontside 1260. Louie has been mastering that run all year, but recently added that frontside double 900. As for Iouri, he came blasting into the pipe with a huge cab double cork 1080, into a front side corked 540, then dropping the hammer with his double Mctwist 1260 right into a frontside 1080.

We here at Spy are proud of you boys, it has been an amazing contest season for both of you. Thank you for the continuing support of the brand!

Here we go guys.

We're just back from The first European X Games...with two medals.

First european X games held in europe have been an incredible show for all the crowd arrived from all around the globe.

All the eyes were focused on the Superpipe contest were all the best pipe slayers were ready to challenge their skills.

Our anti-hero I-Pod took the gold in the biggest pipe that European parks have ever seen landing a double Mctwist 12 with a 98.00 final score.

Louie brought home a bronze medal with an oustanding run featuring 3 double corks.
